Over the past week we attended LA Market Week’s 2017 Holiday/ Resort Season. The Los Angeles Fashion District puts on five market weeks annually. LA’s Fashion Market acts as a trade show event showcasing new collections for upcoming seasons for designer brands and showrooms. A variety of trade shows and the already existing  permanent showrooms participate throughout the year. Market Week is great for purchasing wholesale if you’re a retailer or to expose yourself to new trends.  You can visit numerous showrooms in Downtown LA’s Fashion District at the following places: the New Mart, California Market Center and the Cooper Design Space which have pricing for most retailers.

We visited a few of our favorite niche showrooms at the well established Cooper Design Space, known for housing premiere brands like Ted Baker and 7 For All ManKind. The building was built in 1927 long before The New Mart and the CMC. The Cooper is thriving with Los Angeles creatives and has a wide variety of sales categories in both women & men’s contemporary fashion and accessories.

The showrooms Neem, Room 4 Agency, EM productions and Place all had phenomenal selection for every shopper. Neem the showroom pictured above practices sustainability and offers apparel, pottery, jewelry, bedding and home decor. Soft neutral colors, shades of pink and frills were used a lot in the Holiday/ Resort Collections. Check out our social platforms to view some of our favorite pieces from the showrooms we visited!
